Hermes Awards Ceremony

Event Timing

  • Awards & Display with hors d’ouevres and cash bar:  6:00 – 7:30pm
  • Banquet Dinner (menu selections below) and cash bar: 7:30-8:45pm
  • Awards Presentation: 8:45pm (cash bar will remain open)

Pricing

  • Display reception, dinner & awards ceremony – $60 for members, $75 for non-members
  • Display reception and awards ceremony option (no dinner) – $35 for members, $45 for non-members
  • Table of 10 Sponsorship – includes display reception, preferred dinner seating with company name on table, and a 1/2 page ad in the program – $800 for the first table and $700 for each additional table.  This option will not be available after the reservation deadline.  Ad deadline is Wednesday, February 3rd.
  • Payment must be received with reservations
  • AAF-Dayton Traditional, Associate & Student members are allowed to bring 1 guest at the member rate.  Any additional are at the non-member rate.  Only Company members are allowed to bring everyone at the member rate as a benefit of that membership level.
  • When you reserve, you will need to go through all the steps, otherwise your reservation may not go through.  If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail, it did not go through.
  • This is a seated event.  When you arrive at the event, there will be a list by company name with your table number.  We will have the list on our website a few days before the event as well.
  • For dinner attendees, your meal tickets with menu selection will be in an envelope at your table with your company name on it.  If your group has multiple attendees, the envelope will be at the first table listed on the seating list and you may distribute to your attendees at all your tables.

Reservation Deadline

  • February 10, 2016 is the reservation deadline
  • Reservations made after this date will cost an additional $30 per person

Menu Selections (you will need to let us know your choices when you reserve)

  • Prime Rib – Slow roasted prime rib of beef served with au jus and horseradish sauce
  • Oven Roasted Salmon Fillet – Wild caught salmon roasted with orange and ginger then coated in a honey glaze
  • Vegetable Lasagna – Meatless lasagna prepared with zucchini squash and spinach in a marinara sauce.

Dress

Dress for the Hermes is what you might wear to a wedding.  Many men wear suits, although we also see some in more casual attire.  Many ladies wear evening attire, anything from cocktail dresses or dressy pants/tops, to floor-length gowns.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Specialist to join our team and help grow our business! The successful candidate will be responsible for helping develop and manage marketing and communications projects for the Shumsky promotional business unit to help generate new business, support and grow existing business with current clients, while assisting with daily operations of the marketing group to ensure efficient, cost-effective workflow.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Assists Senior Marketing Specialist and Director of Marketing in developing company business collateral, business papers, and communication/marketing plans for the Shumsky business
  • Executes, analyzes and presents results of advertising and digital marketing
  • Develops and edits social media/blog content and presence on corporate websites, Intranet, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and
  • Understands, interprets, and reports campaign results from online site
  • Works with sales staff and customers in developing case studies, bios, references, and testimonials for online content, presentations and RFP
  • Manages this role within marketing calendars and project management software to reflect current priorities.
  • Works with Account Managers of online store programs to develop, execute, and measure success of email marketing messaging using email service provider platform. Sets up Google analytics tracking for new online stores and creates the metrics needed for quarterly customer reviews.
  • Coordinates sales staff tradeshow events with scheduling, advertising, and merchandising
  • Assists with preparation and staffing of onsite customer events.
  • Assists in RFP responses and customer presentations, as needed

 

The Person 

The successful candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as proven project management skills.  He/she must be able to handle multiple requests and details simultaneously, while promptly responding to inquiries to ensure expectations are met.  This person will take initiative, seek out the appropriate sources needed to reach goals, and enjoy working in a close team environment.   This person will also possess an effective understanding of the latest technologies and how to apply them in marketing.

 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field and a minimum of 2 years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with database and online marketing management tools (Google Analytics). Knowledgeable in using Google docs, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and project management software

Alpha Media-Dayton is looking for a full-time Director of Marketing to be located in our Dayton, Ohio office. We operate five great radio stations in Dayton and are a part of the Alpha Media USA family that owns and operates 135 stations in 28 markets across the US.

We are live and local in every market and can’t wait to talk to you!

Reporting to the Senior VP/Market Manager, the Marketing Director manages the Promotions Department for the Dayton Market, as well as coordinates and manages all cluster wide promotional activity, community partnerships, trades, relationships and events with the assistance of the Promotions Department.  The Marketing Director also works closely with all Program Directors, Director of Programming, Director of Sales, all Sales Managers, Controller and Accounts Payable.

The ideal candidate for this role is someone with the dynamic ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment with the ability to facilitate and manage in a highly create environment.

We are looking for the individual who meets the minimum requirements below:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • A minimum of 4 years in radio or media promotions with a minimum of two years of supervisory or management experience
  • Proven experience with event planning, including experience managing contracts and insurance requirements for venue, company and client
  • Proven experience developing relationships with media outlets in television, and newspapers, including professional sports teams and establishing exclusive partnerships with significant community events and organizations
  • Experience supervising / overseeing the production of marketing commercials, print work, and other collateral materials
  • Project management experience, including the development and management of budgets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proven experience dealing with constantly evolving deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Must be available and willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Must be reachable via phone and/or email after business hours
  • Extremely knowledgeable with all Microsoft Office programs (emphasis on Power Point, Excel and Word)
  • Experience with organic and paid social media campaigns

 

Preference may be given to candidates who meet the above requirements and have the following:

  • Knowledge of Promosuite, Marketron, and online CMS (Vortal or WordPress)
  • Graphic design (Photoshop/Illustrator), photography and/or video editing (Adobe Suite) abilities desired
  • Knowledge of digital ad buying and best practices (AdWords, Bing Ads, etc)
  • Experience with mobile app management via a content management system
